Three Offers, Three Awards, $5.4 Billion
Friday's board added three companies to Air Combat Command's contracted air support program, with a $5.4 billion ceiling over them. Between them they hold $6.9 million of prime work, and the order book they are joining runs dry by next September.
If you bid adversary air two years ago and lost, Friday's board is worth ten minutes of your Saturday.
Three companies joined Air Combat Command's contracted air support program on Oct. 15: Fleet Adversary Support and Training LLC (FA4890-27-D-0001), A2G International LLC (FA4890-27-D-0002) and KestrelX LLC (FA4890-27-D-0003). The Acquisition Management and Integration Center at Langley put a $5,400,000,000 ceiling over the three of them, for adversary air and close air support services, running to Oct. 8, 2029.
The board's own competition line: "These contracts were competitive acquisitions, and three offers were received."
Three offers. Three awards.
"What did it take this week to win a seat on a $5.4 billion program?"
$5.4 Billion, Three Offers
The money that moved at award was $3,000 of fiscal 2027 operations and maintenance, across all three contracts.
The prime record behind those three names is thinner than the ceiling suggests. KestrelX has five DoD prime contracts totalling $6,896,757.78, the largest a $4,534,611 SBIR Phase III and the rest drone-operations work for fighter squadrons. A2G International has one prime contract worth $500. Fleet Adversary Support and Training has none at all, and does not return as a recipient in USAspending.
That is $6,897,257.78 of prime history between them, against a ceiling 783 times larger. A name search can't see subcontract work, a different legal name, or a parent's book, so read it as the floor it is.
And the work these seats are attached to is already drawn down. Five orders are live across the program, worth $417,241,924.55, and every one of them ends inside the next twelve months (chart below).
