The Pipeline: September 2026
The forward ledger of major defense contracts approaching recompete: $414B across 1,205 contracts through August 2028, the 131 rows that left the board this month, and the first thirteen entries to move off watch.
Between the end of February 2027 and August 2028, $413.8 billion of Department of Defense prime-contract value reaches its current end of period.
That is our forward ledger: every DoD prime contract above a $50 million floor whose period of performance ends 6 to 24 months out, pulled from the public award record and refreshed this morning. The board holds 1,205 contracts.
The window advanced a month, so the ledger did too. 131 rows left the board since the last edition and 13 rows came off watch for the first time.
A current end date is not an award date and it is not a promise. It is where the clock runs out unless somebody acts.
